Rockhurst XC, future T&F programs adding recruits

The men's program signed Blake Borum, Kaden Harvie, Sam Rosenberg, Colton Ellingsworth and Colby Goddard.

Borum, from nearby Raymore-Peculiar, was a two-time state qualifier for the Panthers. He was 55th this year at the MSHSAA Class 5 State XC Championships -- after taking 62nd in 2021. He had a top-10 finish this year at the KC Suburban Gold/Silver Conference XC meet. In track and field, he runs the 800-, 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs.

Also coming from the Kansas City area is Rosenberg from St. Michael the Archangel in Lee's Summit. Rosenberg was an all-state runner this year for the Guardians, placing 11th at the MSHSAA Class 3 State XC Championships. He helped the Guardians place fourth and bring home the school's first state cross-country trophy.

He won two races this year, the Knob Noster Invitational and the MSHSAA Class 3 District 4 race. He had six races where he was in the top three.

Rosenberg went to state three times in cross country, placing 74th in 2020 and 72nd in 2021.

Kaden Harvie comes from St. Louis school Bishop DuBourg. He runs the 800- and 1,600-meter events in outdoor track and posted his career-best in cross country in 26th Annual Ed White Festival of Races, where he ran 18:20.00.
