Virtual Meet Feature : Suburban West Girls

One of the features that are provided to MileSplit Insiders (formerly called subscribers of the site) is the ability to access our database of performances and utilize some different tools the site has to offer.

The Virtual Meet feature is one of those tools.  A coach commented in the discussion forum about the strength of the Suburban West Conference girls. I decided to run a Virtual Meet on the Suburban West Girls as an example. I choose to sort the meet by the average 5k time that the girls have run this year.  You could choose the best 5k time in 2013 if you want.

I've set up a number of conferences in the database tables so you should be able to do this for your conference.  If you don't see you conference on the drop down list send me an email with the conference name and teams and I'll add them.  If you find a duplicate athlete or someone you know will not be racing you can delete that athlete from the Virtual Meet by clicking on the X left of the athletes name.

The easiest way to create a virtual meet is to click on stats, virtual meets and choose high school boys or girls. You can manually add your own teams to the meet or under league use the drop down box to select a conference, class, district or section that is already set up. Once in the meet be sure to set Top 7 from each team to Yes and select if you want to sort by Best or Average Time.  Again if you see something wrong with these lists please send me an email.
