Class 1 girls is a tough one to rank as it is often light on full teams and projecting the Top 10 full teams is tough when only 14 in the entire state have at least 5 girls returning. Nevertheless, the team race is notably up for grabs with the departure of the Summit Prep trio. Who's going to take over in 2017? Here is a detailed list of the subjective power rankings for the 2017 Class 1 Girls Teams. Rankings are determined based on results from the 2016 cross country and individual/team results from the 2017 track and field seasons, with some special emphasis given to results the MSHSAA State Cross Country Championships and MSHSAA State Track and Field Championships.
