Smithton is an interesting pick here. They were unable to team score at their district meet and thus unable to compete at the state meet, but they still return five girls from their 2016 team. Katelynne Dedrick and Sarah White are a stable 1-2 duo with 23:26 and 23:49 bests, and their 3 and 4 are both sub-26:00. But there problem lies in a #5 pushing 35:00. They'll have to find some depth and hopefully that will push them to their first trip to the state meet as a team in 2017.
