Kelsey Boyd leads off a string of Sectional 1 competitors in the top 6. In fact, only 1 of the next 6 athletes we will profile are from Sectional 1 as Boyd will have a tough time getting out to state this year. Boyd, though, can find solace in the face that she does have a better PR than the #5 girl, but falls to 6th as a result of their finishes at the state meet.
5. Jamie Tabron - Webster Groves, SR
PR - 38-7
Tabron sneaked into 8th last year in the shot with a 38-2.25 mark, but her 38-7 put at Sectional 1 pushed her into the top 5 among returners. Tabron also has a teammate coming up later on this list and she is now the 2nd of 5 to be listed on our predictions from Sectional 1.
