PR - 2:24.15 (2016)
Hillebrand is 8th in our rankings after taking 8th last season in this event at the state meet. She gets an extra bump over some of the girls who may have had a faster time than her heading into the season as she ran 2:24.15 in her freshman campaign but was only able to muster a 2:26.22 last spring in 12 attempts. An impressive time nonetheless, Hillebrand will now be seeking out her 3rd all-state medal in the 800 this spring.
7. Luella Bradshaw - Stockton, JR
PR - 2:25.42
In only her second season of track competition, Bradshaw finally found her niche in the 800 as she used a 2:25.42 to take 7th at last year's state meet. You will notice a pattern in this year's rankings as the Class 3 800 was a major breakthrough for many of the girls on our list. Call it a function of the long break or a function of the cooler weather, but Bradshaw was not an exception to this phenomenon has hers was a 3 second personal best last May. Watch for more time to drop off of her 800 throughout this May.
