Williams had a very successful freshman campaign and has set herself up well to for an equally successful career. Although she only competed at district, sectional, and state - at least according to our database - she was able to win both the district and sectional title in both the shot put and discus before picking up medals in both events at the state meet. She was fourth in the discus last spring and looks like a solid pick for the top three this season, even challenging for a silver as she continues to grow and learn about the throws.
