Meets On Tap: Meets and Races to Watch

Carthage Invitational 3/29

Confirmed Teams: Carthage, Monett, Lamar, Joplin, Nevada, Grove (OK), East Newton, Willard, Webb City, Marshfield, McDonald County

Races to Watch: Girls 400m, Girls 800m, Whatever Ryan Riddle runs

The Girls 400m has the potential to be a barn burner with Destiny Seeley (59.04), Kaitlyn Massey (59.22), and Addison Theil (59.84) all potential candidates to run. Cami Roy (58.25) is another possibility but she has been focusing on the 800m more recently. Speaking of the 800m we could see a real throwdown between Class 4 Runner Up Roy (2:17.82) and Class 3 State Champ Kinsey Sorrell (2:20.02) in the 800m as well.

On the Boys side whatever events Ryan Riddle is in will be the ones to watch. I'm personally hoping for a duel between he (1:56.51) and Clay Stout (1:56.51) in the 800m. He very well could end up in the 1600m or in his main event, the 3200m, but he is way ahead of the pack in both of those races.
