Jerald Allen (Gateway)
Jerald is the top ranked 800 runner and seems to be ready to hit his stride for the State Series. He ran 1:55.59, just a tick slower than his PR, two weeks ago at Lindenwood and he'll look to drop below 1:55 as he wraps up a stellar high school career.
Daniel Hopkins (Rockwood Summit)
Daniel is in position to move on in all three sprinting event Saturday. In the 400 He is currently ranked 3rd in the State with a 48.72. Look for him to challenge for a State Championship in a few weeks.
GIRLS

Athletes to Watch:
Britney Clark (Webster Groves)
Britney enters the week with the fastest 200 time in the state with a 24.88. She's also ranked 8th in the 100, and 10th in the 400 as well.
Emma Kelley (Webster Groves)
Emma is currently ranked 2nd in the Class 4 800, just behind Class 4 juggernaut Mikayla Reed. Seeing as she's only a sophomore she'll someone we keep talking about over the next few years.
Riley Schelp (Lutheran South)
Riley enters the post season 4th in both the 800 and 1600, and 8th in the 3200. I've seen her run a couple of times this year, and she's been very strong. Look for her to really go for it in the State Series.
