Holy Cross Senior Jacob Thomson will look to become the first Kentucky HS athlete to qualify for the World Junior Cross Country Championships since Michael Eaton (Greenwood/University of Louisville) did in 2006. Thomson will look to qualify for his second international team in a field full of top high school and college runners. This will be his first time racing in the 8K. The Missouri MileSplit affliate will be on-site with coverage.

Emily Bean, Bailey Davis, and Kenzley Defler of Assumption lead the way in the 3200m. Katherine Receveur is seeded #1 in the 800m. Patrick Gregory of Butler is leading the fast heat of the 1600m with North Oldham's Trenton Fryman in the second heat. Corey Heslin and Holden Wells lead Eastern in the 800m and 1200m Runs. Bowling Green and Assumption's girls are favorites in the Distance Medley with Eastern being a favorite on the boys side.
