In class 3 you have storied programs of John Burroughs and McCluer South-Berkeley. John Burroughs has always been a respected program run by future Hall of Famer Dan Harris. However, recently the team as a whole has seemed to raise their game even further. Burroughs is now so good they could be a trophy team (top for at state) in all classes. The combination of increased talent, great coaching, and guru strength coach the team seems to be the best program for years to come. In second McCluer South-Berkeley looks to lean on their stable of sprinters and throwers to once again accumulate medals. It will be interesting to see what blue chip freshman come out for their team this spring from their feeder club teams. Berkeley is always tough, and their trophy case is filled with proof of their sustained greatness. Summit Christian Academy is an exciting program because they show only top returners from their jump and sprint crew, but I have a sneaking suspicion they will be a very balanced team scoring more points as the season goes along. Cardinal Ritter has a storied history in the St. Louis sport's scene. A number of great athletes have built within the walls of the school. This year they look to make a serious run at one of the top three spots in the state meet. The relays have not been included in the power rankings because not all of the teams have complete relay rosters.
