Seemed like maybe a couple things were overlooked by The Who Won the Week article. Most notable is that West Plains also from MO placed 3rd, 37 points ahead of Blue Springs. Festus boys also were 3rd, with Kirkwood also placing well without one of their top 5 runners. Christian Baker had an amazing race in the front pack to place 5th with Max McDaniel in 7th, and Caleb Cornelius running to 9th! RayPec’s top 2 girls were also impressive, finishing in 5th and 6th, with the top West Plains girl in 7th. This is a large regional event, with strong competition, and at least 20 MO teams in attendance. For anyone who is not familiar with the race, typical varsity fields are over 600 runners and approximately 80 teams. Seems like it is worthy of a bit more of an in depth look at the performance of the MO teams that made the trip.

Leaving out Overstreet's 15:34 (not a typo and faster than Caleb Hoover's 15:47 in 2008, but not his 15:04 from 2009) leads 2A now over Cornelius's Chili Pepper 15:54. Quite impressive to be listed with Hoover. If you list Spikereit's 15:36 for 2nd place, you need to include the winner.

I agree with the national Milesplit site. Katelyn Tuohy won the week!
