I am in the process of posting results from Class 1-2 State meet, and I am noticing many errors in the grades. I believe the coaches need to manually change the grade every year which is why this happens. I will do my best to edit the grades when I know they are wrong, but if you know of any let me know so I can fix them. Grades affect the rankings and virtual meets down the road.

You are probably right. I know we have several that are mistakes and I am not sure that they can be corrected now on the trxc website. Not sure why there isn't something written into the code to automatically update year in school every year for high school athletes. After all, you can't use a redshirt year in high school, so a kid who was a sophomore for the 2010 season HAS to be a junior for the 2011 season.

Head coaches will get an email tomorrow. If a name is spelled wrong and the grade is wrong you can correct that until Wednesday at 4PM. YOu can go into your roster and do it now.

Milesplit from within the database system, updates the grades just before the start of the upcoming XC season (all seniors moved to alumni, etc.)... after the completion of the summer track season.

If you remember, last year all of the submitted districts results from trxc were entered into the system here and changed everyone that competed's grade back one year within the milesplit database. I don't remember the exact cause, but it created quite the headache for Paul and team.
