RE: CONFERENCE CROSS COUNTRY MEET
On Thursday, October 15, 2015 Cape Girardeau Central High School will host the SEMO North Conference Championships at Central High School1000 South Silver Springs Road
TIME: 2:40 Coaches Meeting
3:00 Jr High Boys (UNLIMITED)
3:30 Jr High Girls (UNLIMITED)
4:00 Boys Varsity (TOP 7 RUNNERS)
4:30 Girls Varsity (TOP 7 RUNNERS)
5:00 Boys JV (UNLIMITED)
5:30 Girls JV (UNLIMITED)
LOCATION: Cape Central High School, 1000 South Silver Springs Road, Cape Girardeau, MO 63703.
DISTANCE: ALL races 5K except Jr. High Boys/Girls, approx. 1.5 miles
SPIKES: Due to part of the race being run on our track and artificial turf football field we ask
all athletes to refrain from using spikes longer that 1/8 inch.
AWARDS: Varsity Boys & Girls (1 team plaque and 10 Boys/ 10 Girls medals); Junior Varsity
Boys & Girls (1 team plaque and 10 Boys/ 10 Girls medals); Junior High (1 team
plaque and 10 Boys/ 10 Girls medals)
TENTS: Because there will be several other sports practicing on the same day, please plan to put
your tents up near the north gate of the stadium. This would be a good place for
drop-off and pick-up as well. Please note that our school dismisses at 2:40 as this
will be an especially congested time on campus.
This year, we will be entering online at http://mo.milesplit.us, click on Calendar and then SEMO North Cross Country Championships Entry. Entries are due by Monday, October 12, 2015 at 12:00 noon. If you have never registered for a race through this system before you will need to get a username which will take up to two days so please start the process early enough.
