REBEL RELAYS
To: MAAA Track Coaches and Athletic Directors
Information for the 2018 Rebel Relays, hosted by Central High School
Date and Starting Times: Thursday March 29th
Entries/Coaches Meeting: Make your entries at momilesplit by Thursday, March 29th 10:00 a.m. Each team is allowed 2 individuals per event and one relay team. Only scratches can be made at the finish line tent no adds.
Timing: Provided by Central High Timing System.
Awards: Medals will be awarded to the top 4 finishers in all events. A plaque will be awarded to the first place Boys and Girls school.
Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 (all events)
Javelin: Will begin at 1:00 p.m. Both shot Put and discus will begin after the javelin has been completed for both girls and boys. Each participant will be allowed 4 throws.
Field Events: Long jump, triple jump, pole vault, and high jump will begin at 1:00 p.m. Long and triple jumpers will be allowed 4 attempts.
Running Events: Will begin at 2:00 p.m. girls followed by boys (No Prelims)
Track Information: Spikes should be no longer than 3/16-inch needle.
Starters: TBA
Concessions: There will be a concession stand available.
Games Committee: All Head Coaches not involved with the issue.
