Interview with Missouri Southern senior Eric Schott after his victory in the University Men's 8k race at the 2014 Missouri Southern Stampede cross country meet in Joplin, MO, Saturday, September 20. Schott, a former standout at Cape Girardeau's Central High School, Schott moved up through out the race and was in second place when a Tulsa runner leading the race, pulled off the course at four-miles, while Schott cruised to an easy victory in 24:32, to win by 17-seconds, for his final race on the Tom Rutledge named course. Schott is a NCAA DII nationals qualifier in cross country, indoor and outdoor track, and will be looking to earn his first trophy at Decembers cross country championships in Louisville, KY.http://www.trxctiming.com/stampede/Results/2014/2014_results_university_men.htm
