From the Springfield-area, the Hawks added Ellingsworth and Goddard.
Ellingsworth was an all-state runner in the MSHSAA Class 1 XC Championships with a sixth-place finish. He won the SWCL Conference championship and the Texidor Challenge at School of the Ozarks -- part of five top-three finishes.
He qualified for the MSHSAA Class 1 state track meet in the 3,200-meter in 2022, taking 12th place. Ellingsworth was an all-stater in the 1,600-meter run in 2021, taking eighth in the 1,600-meter meet at the MSHSAA Class 1 Championships. He took 32nd place at the cross-country finals that season
Goddard helped the Kickapoo Chiefs win the Class 5 MSHSAA XC Championship title in 2021 and was the third-place team at this year's meet. Goddard was a three-time state qualifier and his 69th-place showing this year was his best.
He's run every race from the 200-meter dash to the 3,200-meter run in outdoor track and field. He set personal bests in the 800 and 1,600-meter run at the Arkansas High School Invitational on Jan. 14 in Fayetteville.
Kickapoo's Colby Goddard has helped the Chiefs bring home two team trophies the past two years.
