It’s crazy to think Ezekiel Elliott, a man with a 37.52 personal best, hasn’t won this event. Back in 2011 only two one hundreths of a second separated “Zeke” and Dapo Akinmoladun. Dapo went on to defend his title in 2012, leaving Elliott only with one gold in his collection (110 hurdles in 2011). With Akimoladun off to a great career at Nebraska, Elliott is left with the path to victory a bit easier. It won’t be easy as he will have to deal with the light blue and black of Grandview once again. This year it will be Harvey Kendall, a talented junior who has run 39.09 so far this season. Also in the field are three other runners who have posted times under 40 seconds, Andrew Madison, Cody Frana and Brendan Campbell.
