Blue Springs (MO) junior Carlos Davis broke the Missouri state discus record on his second throw at the Missouri Class 3-4 State Meet with a mark of 212'5". The performance now ranks Davis US top 20 all-time in the event. His twin brother Khalil was close to joining him in the 200 foot club in second place to with him a throw of 197 feet.
