9. Harrison Brown - Lafayette - JR: A breakout sophomore campaign pushed Harrison Brown from obscurity into now 9th on our preseason list. Merely an alternate in 2015, Brown was a major key to Lafayette's 3rd place team trophy in 2016 and also their state title in the 2017 Class 5 boys 3200m Relay. His track season was light beyond a 2:01 open 800 and 4:29 1600 (and the 3200m Relay, of course), but you can't deny the 15:54 rising junior. He will most certainly be making that junior year jump that many Lafayette Lancers have before him.
