Week In Review: It's a Kansas City State, We Are All Just Living In It

One of the biggest weeks of the season has come and gone and in terms of entertainment value, it did not disappoint. Forest Park Cross Country Festival drew 2, 806 high school performances and another approximately 500 middle school and open race participants. The Raymore-Peculiar and Stan Nelson Invitationals were large as well, drawing 1, 110 and 691 performances as well. With some 4, 500 performances among only three Saturday meets and including the hundreds of others that were had throughout the week, this week provided almost too much to discuss. Here we recap the biggest meets and provide the briefest summary we can while still diving into all that transpired this week.
