6. Emma Homfeldt - Calvary Lutheran (Previous: 4; Change: -2)

5. Audrey Maggart - St. Joseph Christian (Previous: 11; Change: +6)

4. Julia McIntyre - New Haven (Previous: 2; Change: -2)

McIntyre hasn't shown us the domination that she showed last early on last season. She has fallen to #4, but we expect a rebound soon and will be on the lookout for more results.

3. Lexi Elmore - West Platte (Previous: 5; Change: +2)

2. Alexis Workman - Summit Preparatory School (Previous: NR; Change: N/A)

It didn't take long for the younger Workman to make a name for herself and now we have her at #2 in the state in Class 1. She is one of only 2 girls under 21:00 right now and is far ahead of the 3rd fastest girl in Class 1 right now. We're waiting on more great things from her and expect to see it soon.

1. Ashley Riley - South Nodaway (Previous: 1; Change 0)

Ashley Riley is the only Missouri girls under 20:00 now after running 19:40 at Chillicothe. She also brought home a big win at the Duane Kimble Invitational in Benton, for which we are still waiting on total results, but know that she won in 20:37. She was the #2 returner coming into the season, but is quickly making it known that she will be one of the ones to beat come November.

Teams

5. Lutheran KC (Previous: N/R; Change: N/A)

4. Salisbury (Previous: N/R; Change: N/A)

3. St. Joseph Christian (Previous: 4; Change: +1)

2. Hermitage (Previous: 2; Change: 0)

Hermitage hangs on at #2 at the moment, but there are a number of teams breathing down their neck. Crystal City still hasn't shone as brightly as we thought they would this season and St. Joseph Christian is starting to put it together. Coach Sabala says they're still "working on a few things" so we may still have quite a bit yet to come...

1. New Haven (Previous: 1; Change: 0)

New Haven remains the best team in the state and it still really isn't even that close even though they have stayed fairly idle the last week or so. With two front runners and three more under 23:20, it appears that the Shamrocks are set up well on both sides heading down the stretch.
