Virtual meets are showing Helias getting beat by Pleasant Hill on Saturday and this is very notable. Pleasant Hill is one of the stronger pack running teams in Class 3 right now and showed it at Ray-Pec and MoSo Stampede the past two weeks. They have 5 boys between 17:26-17:46 and are doing the same kind of things that Parkway West is doing on the Class 4 boys side. The head-to-head match-up with Helias and Herculaneum on a course comparable to Oak Hills will tell us quite a bit as we move into the second half of the season. The individual race will be a rematch between four of the top five boys from last weekend's Fulton Invitational as Alex Dukes came out on top over Mason Gaines, Jack Crull, and Jenson Starr in Fulton. on the Class 4 boys side. Kylie Goldfarb continues to roll for John Burroughs and she will meet up with Forest Park Gold Division champion Sarah Moore (Ste. Genevieve). Abby Hake is coming off another great run at Fulton and will be leading the Helias girls to, probably, another team title. Owensville is looking strong after the Stampede and will face off with Herculaneum and Festus for 2nd, most likely. Helias is looking good and it doesn't look like they're going to stop any time soon.
