None of these teams are in St. Charles, yet they will all travel to the locally famous McNair Park for the Suburban Conference Championships on Saturday. Last year was the first year that the Suburban Conference ran altogether and it turned it into an impressive and competitive race. According to the current virtual meet, it appears that Parkway West will be running away with this meet on both the boys and girls sides. Harrison Brown (Lafayette) and his teammate Nassim Oufattole appear to be on course to battle it out for the team title with three Longhorns: Matyas Csiki-fejer, Andrew Lofgren, and Blake Selm. Kirkwood's Christian Baker and Marquette's Nick Warmann will be contenders as well. On the girls side, Abigail Juedemann of Lindbergh is coming off of a big victory over her biggest competition - Chloe Hershenow - but others who should be in the mix include Parkway West's Emily Dickson, Ladue's Lila Bensky, and Fox's Amie Martin. Webster Groves senior Gabriella Kohring has not raced in a few weeks, but should she return, she will also be a force in the individual race.
