Why: "I chose Purdue because I really felt at home in Indiana. I have family relatively close to the college. The teammates that I was with made me feel like I belonged and were people I could see myself spending a good amount of time with. I will be a part of a team looking to win a Big 10 Championship, have the opportunity to be coached by one of the best decathletes of all time, Chris Huffins, and train alongside of Kurt Felix, who is a top 10 world ranked decathlete."
