4. Ul-envi Johnson - Central Cape Girardeau, SR
PR - 39-6
Johnson has not had an illustrious throws career, she has made the most of her few throws to the tune of a 39-6 heave at Sectional 1 and 39-5.75 for 5th at State. Johnson enters as the best thrower under 40-0, but it should not take long for her to break that barrier and compete for a top 3 medal in her final season.
3. Olivia Schroder - Ladue Horton Watkins, SR
PR - 40-7.5
The top 3 returners were all top 3 last season as Schroder used her 40-7.5 to take 3rd in 2017. Schroder had a major breakthrough at the state meet last year as she had never thrown over 38' until the state meet. Her 40-7.5, if she can replicate it in 2018, will make her a major contender for another top 3 finish.
