Weekend Review: Prentice Gudgen High School Invitational

Some of Missouri's top athletes made the trip to that state to the west this weekend for the Prentice Gudgen High School Invitational hosted by Pittsburg State University. There were several very impressive performances, including some that cracked the national rankings.

We'll start off with Victor Mugeche who ran an incredible 3000m with a time of 8:39.68 which is currently the 4th fastest time in the United States. Another incredible performance was ran by Justin Robinson, who ran 48.08 in the 400m which also happens to be the 4th fastest time in the country this year. Finally, there was KC Lightfoot who already held the 3rd best Pole Vault in the country at 17-6; He vaulted 17-3 this weekend which would've been good enough for 4th best if he hadn't already be third. What a meet it was for these young men.

There were some other really good performances there this weekend, and below you will find the top 5 Missourians from each event.
