Class 3 District 2
Arcadia Valley Sports Complex will play host to the Championships for District 2. The Boys Race will feature a trio of boys sub 17:20, lead by Will Green of Pacific with a season best of 17:00. He will be potentially challenged by Grant Straatmann (17:16) and Carter Adams (17:19). St. Francis Borgia looks to be the favorite for the team title with a projected 29 points. That leaves Sullivan and Pacific battling for the final state spot with 81 and 87 points respectively.
In the girls race the favorite will be Macy Schelp of Lutheran South who come in with the 4th fastest time in the Class 3 with a 19:10. She has finished in the top three in all of her races this season, with three wins, three runner ups, and on third place finish in some competitive fields. Lutheran South also looks to be the favorite to win the team title with a 41-65 advantage over closest challenger St. Clair in the virtual meet.
