Class 5's 100/110 Hurdlers to Watch in 2019

The Class 5 Girls 100m Hurdles will see ten State Qualifiers return this season including the State Champion and five State Medalists.

Defending State Champion Michelle Owens of McCluer North returns and would be the favorite heading into 2019. She has the fastest returning time in Class 5 with a 13.86, and last season won 8 of 10 races in the 100H. However, both of her losses came at the hand of Tyra Wilson of Rock Bridge who won all 7 of her 100H races in the regular season last year. Unfortunately she was the victim of a false start last year at Districts so we didn't get to he her at State in the 100H. I'm listing her as the favorite though as she looks to put together a strong sophomore campaign and remain undefeated. Below you can find my subjective rankings and honorable mentions in the Class 5 Girls 100H.
