Class 3's Top 800m Runners to Watch in 2019

Ten State Qualifiers returning in 2019 in the Class 3 Girls 800m including five medalists, one of which is the defending champion.

Kylie Goldfarb of John Burroughs is the defending State Champion, and has the fastest returning time in Class 3 with a 2:16. Goldfarb went undefeated in the 800m during the regular season last year, and also took 5th at the AAU Junior Olympic Games in the 800m. If she wants to repeat as champion she'll have to fend off rival Mercedes Schroer who was last years runner up, in what was her only loss in her young track career. It should be fun watching these two square off yet again this year at the State Meet. Below you can find my subjective rankings and honorable mentions for the Class 3 Girls 800m.

1. Kylie Goldfarb - John Burroughs

2. Mercedes Schroer - Christian
