Class 5's Long Jumpers to Watch in 2019

There are nine returning State Qualifiers in the Class 5 Girls Long Jump, including three State Medalists and the State Champion.

Leah North of St. Teresa's is the defending champion in the long jump, and looks to return to the top of the podium in 2019. She comes in with the farthest returning leap with an 18-10.75, and never jumped worse than 17-8 last season which is a testament to her consistency. Returning medalists Brooke Jenkins and Tayte Kozlowski also have jumps over 18 feet and could reasonably challnege for the title, as well as non-medalists Talia Emerson and Carynton Marshall.
