Class 4's Long Jumpers to Watch in 2019

Twelve girls return in the Class 4 Long Jump that qualified for State last season, five of which were State Medalists in 2018.

The competition looks to be pretty close heading into the season, and there really isn't a standout favorite. Riley Burger of Notre Dame (Cape Girardeau) was the top finisher at State last year, placing 4th with a PR of 17-11.5. Marshaun Bostic of Gateway had the farthest leap last season amongst the returners with an 18-7.5 last year at Sectionals. Kearney's Addison Hampton also has gone north of 18 feet with an 18-1. Elaina Liebman of Parkway Central put together one of the most consistent seasons among the returners placing 7th at State and has a PR of of 17-10.5.
