Class 5's Shot Put Throwers to Watch in 2019

Returning for the Class 5 Boys Shot Put in 2019 are five State Qualifiers, two of which are State Medalists.

It looks like its going to be two man race for the title this year between Jefferson City's Devin Roberson and North Kansas City's Adetomiwa Adebawore. They finished 3rd and 4th last year and will battle this year for the top spot on the podium. Roberson has the farthest returning throw in Class 5 with a 57-0, while Adebawore has the second best throw with a 56-2. These two should be lighting it up all season, and it will be fun to see how it shakes out at State. Below you can find my subjective rankings and honorable mentions for the Class 5 Boys Shot Put.
