Remerdie Ndiang Wins Long and Triple Jump

Kirksville Junior Remerdie Ndiang picked up two State Championships on Saturday. He jumped a big PR of 23-6 to win the Long Jump, and had big leap of 47-8.5 to win the Triple Jump, allowing him to sweep the horizontal jumps.

Gabriel Kurtz Breaks Class 4 Javelin Record

Gabriel Kurtz broke the Class 4 State Record on his way to a State Championship last weekend. His record breaking throw of 191-4 also currently sits as the 53rd  best throw in the nation. In addition to his Javelin State Title, he also placed 5th in the Pole Vault to earn another State Medal. 




Josh Sutton Brings Home Two State Titles

Joshua Sutton successfully defended both his 100m & 200m State Title on Saturday. He won the 100m with a time of 10.85, and won the 200m as well with a time of 21.85.

Max McDaniel Wins 1600/3200 Double

Max McDaniel finished off his high school career with three State Championships on Saturday. To start things off he anchored Festus's State Championship 4x800m team to a State Title. Then he followed that up with a victory in the 1600m with a time of 4:21.20. He then came back and won the the 3200m with a season best time of 9:27.23 to finish with three State Championships on the day. 





Grandview Wins Class 4 Boys State Championship

Grandview won the Class 5 Boys State Championship on Saturday with 63 points. Justice Akinmoladun led the way with a State Title in the Shot Put, and a third place finish in discus. Their 4x200m team of D'monte' Blanks, Jeffrey Willis, Deyvion Franklin, and Harold Trainer also captured a State Title on Saturday. Blanks also placed 2nd in the 110H, and was 4th in the 300H. Trainer also placed 4th in the 100m, while Reginald King took 2nd place in the 800m. Kennedy Nwaneri took 4th place in tripple jump, while Jermaine Yarbough and Elisha Turner took 6th place in the High jump and Shot Put respectively.
