Team Missouri Sweeps Great Southwest Classic

Several of Missouri's top athletes made the trip to Albuquerque, New Mexico to take place in the prestigious Great Southwest Classic hosted by the University of New Mexico. Both Missouri's women and mens team blew away the field to pick up the victories. The men scored 187.5 points to beat Texas's 131, and the women scored 211 to beat Arizona's 150.

There were several remarkable performances on the day, but none come close to Justin Robinson's in the 400m. Robinson ran a US no. 2 all time 44.84, which is below the 2020 Olympic Standard of 44.90. You can watch his race and see what he had to say about his performance HERE.

Cortney Watkins (Hickman) finished just behind him at 13.71 which is forth in State history and 7th in the nation so far this season.
