Who Won This Week? Top Performers from a Fast Week


Jack Crull (Helias Catholic)

Crull has done very well so far this season, and had another great performance this weekend at the Camdenton Laker XC Invitational. He picked up the victory with a MO No. 1 performance of 15:23. That was his forth time sub 16 this season, and is currently 162nd in the United States.



Braden Zaner (Raymore-Peculiar)

The Ray-Pec senior popped off a huge 30 second PR this weekend at the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival in Arkansas. He ran 15:38 to place 4th, and was the top Missourian on the day in Arkansas. That time is currently a MO No. 3 performance, and he'll looked to ride the momentum into championship season.


Alexander Wallach (Kirkwood)

The Kirkwood senior also had a great race at the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival. He broke the 16 minute barrier for the first time and placed 9th with a PR of 15:46. That's currently the 9th fastest time in Missouri this year, and he's in a good spot to look to earn his first State Medal in November.


Alicen Ashley (Nixa)

Ashley picked up her second straight victory and broke the 19 minute barrier for the first time at the Camdenton Laker Invitational. She won the race with a new PR of 18:55, which currently is the the 7th fastest time in Missouri.



Marisa Jacknewitz (Nerinx Hall)

The Nerinx Hall Marker had a great weekend, as she and her teammates made the trip to Kentucky for the Greater Louisville Classic. She ran a life-time best 18:55, which was her second time sub 19 this season. She currently sits as the ninth fastest runner in Missouri, and will look to keep getting better as we enter the post season.
