District 3 Results | District 4 Results

Full Team Scores Virtual Meet: Boys | Girls

Boys Qualifying Teams: Marquette, Parkway South, Lafayette (Wildwood), Parkway Central, Jefferson City, Francis Howell, Ft. Zumwalt West, Helias Catholic

Girls Qualifying Teams: Eureka, Parkway West, Lafayette (Wildwood), Marquette, Liberty (Wentzville), Washington, Timberland, Francis Howell

Sectional 2 will also take place at Parkway Central High School on Saturday morning. Parkway Central has never been a particularly fast course, but this year it should be a bit quicker than it was last season based on changes made to the course.

The Girls team race looks to be interesting between the teams looking to qualify as the 2nd-6th place finishers look to be really close. District 4 Champion Eureka has been among the best teams in the State all season, and they look like they'll cruise to the Sectional Title. Parkway West and Lafayette (Wildwood) also look very formidable and should qualify, but District 3 Champion Liberty (Wentzville) has started to peak at the right time and will also be joined by Washington and Marquette looking to punch their tickets to the State Meet.

The individual title race looks to be an interesting one as well. District 4 Champion Grace Tyson (Lafayette - Wildwood) will enter the race as the favorite, but she'll have to fend of District 3 Champion Ally Kruger (Liberty - Wentzville), and win the rematch against Leah Kleekamp (Eureka), and Emma Puetz (Rolla).

The boys race looks to be hotly contested as seven teams will enter the race with State aspirations. It's hard to even pick a winner as this looks like it'll be very, very close. Marquette won the District 4 title last weekend by a mere four points over Parkway South, and Lafayette was just three points behind them. Add District 3 Champion Jefferson City to the mix and it gets really interesting. Francis Howell, Ft. Zumwalt West, and Parkway Central are also very capable teams that could make the leap into the top 4 and earn a state trip this weekend.

The individual title race doesn't seem to be very exciting on paper, as District 3 Champion Jack Crull (Helias Catholic) enters the race with the current MO No. 1 time of 15:23. Crull has only lost two races this season, both to Wes Porter of Rockhurst. Other top runners in the race will be Stone Burke (Marquette), Thomas Andersen (Parkway West), Ethan Koop (Marquette), Bryan Obarr (Waynesville), Daniel Tabaka (Parkway South), Thomas Roehl (Jefferson City), and Nick Cimmarusti (Francis Howell).
