Q: What does your training look like right now given the current situation?

A: I've been going up to the track by myself and doing the same workouts I'd be doing if we still had practice as a team.

Q: What are you doing to stay busy other than run right now?

A: I've been playing a whole lot of 2K.

Q: What was your most memorable race/moment?

A: Making one last kick to win state in the 800 my junior year.

Q: What was the funniest thing that happened during your running career?

A: My freshman year I was wrestling some of the upperclassmen in our hotel at state and I got put in a headlock so I bit him.

Q: Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?

A: Probably Kolin Overstreet, since sophomore year in xc I've always raced him at state and he was always one of the guys that I was trying to plan my races off of. He's a strong runner.

Q: What was your greatest accomplishment?

A: Getting 2nd in state in XC my sophomore because it was so unexpected.

Q: If you could do it all over again what would you change about your running career in high school?

A: I would have ran the mile my freshman year. My first year was sophomore year and I won state. My time could be better now if I did it then.

Q: What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?

A: Probably having to run all four races in one day for state my junior year. You have to go all out four times in one day. I was surprised that I could even do it.

Q: What will you miss the most?

A: My coaches and my teammates

Q: What advice would you give to younger athletes?

A: Just keep putting in the work and the results will come

Q: What kind of an impact has your coach had on you and your team?

A: They push us hard and know that we have potential and that we are capable of big things. If everyone wants to quit they won't let it be an option, they make us go as hard as we can all the time.

Q: What are your college plans?

A: I will continue me track and xc career at Saint Louis University

Q: Who would you like to say 'thank you' to?

A: I want to say thank you to my parents and family, my coaches, my teammates for all four of my years, my teachers and administrators, and everyone else that has believed in me and supported me.
