Over the past decade, thousands of Missourians have toed the line and took off aiming to run that PR they have been dreaming of. This led to some of spectacular times, jumps, and throws over the past decade, and several records have been bested.
We have been lucky to witness some of the best track & field athletes of all-time over the past decade, and we have created the Missouri MileSplit All-Decade Track Madness tournament to help celebrate these great athletes of the decade.
The athletes will be split into regions based on their discipline. Distance, Sprints/Hurdles, Jumps, and Throws will all have their own eight athlete region, and the victor of each round will be decided by polls on the site until we have a boys and a girls champion to be crowned as the Missouri Track & Field Athletes of the Decade.
The athletes were selected by the Missouri MileSplit staff, and there were several tough decisions that had to be made with the amount of spectacular athletes Missouri has been home to in the last decade. There is sure to be some debate on who wasn't included and with the seeding, and we look forward to seeing everyone's thoughts and how all the polls shake out.
