Junior Ava Parekh was last week's National Performer of the Week.

At the Whitney Young Invitational on Sept. 19, she ran the nation's second-fastest time for three miles. This was the fastest time run in the Chicago city limits and won by almost a minute in 16:43.80. The Chicago Latin (IL) runner earned 526 tallies, which was 58.31-percent of the votes.

Vote for whom you think should win this week's five national honor following the week of action. Voting will end Friday, and we'll recognize the winner every Monday during the unveiling of the newest poll.
