Running for Caleb
Stover senior Blaine Brodersen pushes himself just before the 2-mile mark on his way to a runner-up finish in the Class 2 boys race. Blaine's brother and teammate Caleb passed away in a car accident three weeks before the state meet.
Mad Dash to the Finish and All-State Honors
From left to right: South Shelby's Noah Wilt (right, #785), Bishop LeBlond's Jonathan Eckstein (middle), Elsberry's Dashaun Dodson (barely visible behind Eckstein), Stockton's Braden Postlewait (white jersey, #817), Calvary Lutheran's Jaxson Jobe (#677), North Platte's Noah Heckman (purple and black), and St. Vincent's Jackson Unterreiner. Wilt led the group, placing 14th, while Postlewait brought up the rear, taking 20th, all earning Top-25 All-State honors.
