Ladue's Delaney Brinker Has Big Goals This Outdoor Season

Delaney Brinker has already made an impact on the record board at Ladue Horton Watkins.

Now the senior will have one last chance to add her trophy case a few more times.

She is part of three school records entering her finals season - on the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400.

She also has the third-best time in school history in the 200-, 400- and 800-meter dashes. Who's ahead of her?

Well, Samantha Levin holds the school record in the 800 - and the MSHSAA record. In the 400, Montenae Roye-Speight has the school record and like Levin, also holds the MSHSAA record.

Brinker has earned all-state accolades the past two years in the 200 and 400 - a runner-up twice.

She is heading into the 2025 season after setting personal records in the 200 and 400 at the New Balance Indoor Nationals earlier this month in Boston.

The Kansas State pledge talked to MoMileSplit about the indoor season, goals for the outdoor season this year, how she chose to head to the Little Apple, and how she won't be the only Brinker on the Lady Rams' roster this spring.

Her twin sister, Zoey Brinker, is competing for the track and field team as a jumper this spring.

Check out the 8-plus-minute interview with Brinker.
