The 2026 Missouri Track and Field Season is in full swing and stellar performances continue to flood our rankings database. All four seasons hit Missouri this week and significantly impacted the amount of results we were expecting this week (especially on a very rainy April Fool's Day). Week 2 was still chock full of strong performances - who do you think was the performer of the week?
Each Monday this season, we will be running a poll with five candidates for Performer of the Week that was, highlighting five athletes from around the state who did something amazing in the last seven days. Vote for who you think deserves the honor!
Polls open at 7:00am on Monday and remain open until 5:00pm on Friday. The athlete who wins will move to our end-of-the-season "Performer of the Year" poll and will not be nominated again for the weekly poll for the rest of the season. Athletes who were nominated and do not win will not be eligible to be nominated for one full week.
Congratulations to our recent poll winners:
Week Zero (3/19-3/21): Amari Morrison - Liberty
Week 1 (3/30-4/4): Rylan Roberts - Fayette

Here are this week's nominees:
Helias Catholic freshman Nicki Frank has lived up to the hype so far this season as she has posted highly ranked marks in several events. This past week, she posted the top overall 400 meter mark (56.89) and overall high jump mark (1.67, 5-5.75) at the St. Francis Borgia Invitational on Tuesday.
The Class 5 State Cross Country champion is back and ready to push the envelope in the 2026 track and field season. Doll ran the top 3200 mark of the week - 11:09.21 - at the Carthage Invitational on Thursday.

Rhyenne Jones - Raymore-Peculiar
Ray-Pec's Rhyenne Jones continues to climb in the javelin and is already ahead of her 2025 season/personal best of 42.43m. She threw 43.32m (142-2.5) at the Jock's Nitch/PSU Gorilla Relays on Friday.
