- What was your most memorable race/throw/jump/vault/moment?
Winning the SBU Invite and getting my PR in Javelin, 56.72m
- Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?
In XC, it was Carter Ferrell from Macks Creek, running the 800m it was Parker Owen from Skyline, and for javelin it was Gannon Bowen from North Shelby at the Class 1 state championships.
- What was your greatest accomplishment?
Winning 1st place in javelin at state my senior year.
- Who would you consider your biggest role model over your four years of competing?
My coach Jim Wheeler. He's a great guy and has a great family. He has never doubted me and continues to encourage and guide me.
- If you could do it all over again what, if anything, would you change about your running or field career in high school?
I wish I would have started running and throwing my freshman year (I didn't start until my junior year.)
- What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome? How did you overcome them?
My junior year I was unable to advance past sectionals for javelin due to an injury, so I rested and attacked the off-season hard and pushed myself.
- What will you miss the most?
XC meets
- What advice would you give to younger athletes?
Set a goal and make it happen. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do it.

- What influence has your coach had with respect to your performance and overall life goals?
I had several awesome coaches who went above and beyond what's required of a coach.
- What are your post-high school or college plans?
I will be attending Southwest Baptist University this fall and be on the track & field team.
- Who would you like to say 'thank you' to?
Coach Mark Sabala for introducing me to XC and track. Without him, I would not have had these opportunities.
- Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Nope. That is all.
