Liberty North sophomore Sammy Laurenzo wins her 2nd meet in the past 5 days. Laurenzo is currently the 4th ranked female runner in Missouri by Big River Running Company won the Platte County Invitational in a course record time of 18:41. The Kearney girls also continued their impressive 2011 season winning the girls team competition with 41 points.  On the guys side it was another Liberty North runner taking home a first place medal as Max Jobson ran a new course record time of 16:17 for the win while the Smithville boys team won the team competition with 70 points.
