The Missouri MileSplit team of Paul Everett and Craig Martin headed west today for on-site coverage of the Grandview Invitational held on the grounds of Longview Community College.

Clinton Sophomore Nicole Lee breezed to a 25 second win finishing in 19:09.46, 25 seconds ahead of Blue Springs Julia Dury who took second. On the team side it was Lee's Summit North edging Blue Sprigs 37-44. On the guys side Freshman Tucker Melles from Park Hill South finished in 17:01.78 for a solid victory. Kevin Jantsch was 2nd in a time of 17:22.  On the team side it was the Rockhurst boys winning with 39 points even with the top guys being held out for the upcoming meet at Rim Rock Farms.
