adidas Seahawk Invitational, NC

Coverage

Highlights

  • Bakri Abushouk (Cary) won big in the boys Championship race with a time of 15:27, 42 seconds clear of the rest of the field.  Cary won the team title in convincing fashion, scoring 36 points to gap the field by almost 100 points.  Cary put 6 in the top-14 overall in the race.
  • In the girls Championship race Mary Grace Doggett (Cardinal Gibbons) won with a time of 18:38 as the team took top honors with 71 points.  

 

Covered Bridge Run, GA

Highlights

  • Foot Locker finalist Josh Brickell (Peachtree Ridge) led his team to the win by a slight 3 points with his winning time of 15:48.14, 42 seconds ahead of teammate Kevin Mills.  

 

Highlander Invitational, WA

Highlights

  • Andrew Gardner (Mead) pulled away quickly in the boys senior race to win with a very fast time of 12:16 for the 2.5 mile layout.  His time was a good 31 seconds ahead of Adam Thorne of Ferris.  

 

Tracy Walters Invitational, WA

Highlights

  • Kai Wilmot (North Central) crushed the record for the 3 mile course with a time of 14:44, a full 13 seconds faster than superstar Andrew Gardner's old record of 14:57.  The most amazing thing about Kai?  He is only a junior and ran 14:24 for 5000m last spring!
  • Katie Knight (North Central) won the girls race with a 17:47 over the 3 mile course to win by nearly a minute.  Suffice to say she has bounced back nicely from her illness this past spring!

 

Sehome Invitational, WA

Highlights

  • In the senior girls race Amy Eloise-Neale (Glacier Peak) showed that she is in fine form, smashing the old course record by over 35 seconds with a winning time of 10:54.93 over the 2-mile layout.  

 

Christian Schools Invitational, MI

Highlights

  • Julia Bos (Grand Rapids Christian) won the girls varsity race with a swift 17:59.92 clocking, over 90 seconds up on her teammate.  

 

Spikes and Spurs Classic, FL

Coverage

Highlights

  • Andres Arroyo (Colonial) clocked a time of 15:44.10 to defeat two teammates by 36 seconds.  Impressively, despite a muddy and twisty course, Andres ran comfortably and ran a workout 5 minutes after the race in which he ran a mile on the course in 4:50.

Coverage

Highlights

  • Kennedy Weisner won the girls Gold race with a quick time of 18:24.87 over the hilly terrain.  Greta Lindsley (Penn Manor) was 2nd with a time of 18:34.21.  Dallas won the team crown with a score of 90 points.  
  • In the boys Gold race Sam Williams (Northeast Bradford) won with a quick 16:04.18 clocking.  Dominic Deluca (Dallas) was 2nd with a time of 16:07.07.  Lower Dauphin won the team title with 94 points.

 

Fork Union Invitational, VA

Coverage

Highlights

  • In the boys Colonial Varsity 3 mile race Nathaniel Hall (Atlee) won the race with a time of 15:23.22.  Of note was that US Olympian Lopez Lomong's brothers were 8th and 9th in the race with times of 16:20.22 for frosh Alexander Lomong and 16:22.45 for soph Peter Lomong.    
  • Molly Breidenbaugh (Trinity Epis) won the girls Colonial Varsity race with a swift time of 18:18.67.   

 

Red, White and Blue Classic, PA

Coverage

Highlights

  • Brianna Schwartz (Shaler Area) won the girls Varsity race with a time of 18:07.  Morgantown won the team title with 79 points.  
  • In the boys Varsity race North Allegheny won in dominating fashion with a stellar 17 second spread and 76 points scored.  Brent Kennedy (Kiski Area) won the individual race with a time of 15:27 over the 5k layout.

Murray Invitational, UT

Highlights

  • In the girls Varsity race Summer Harper (Orem) won while cruising with a time of 18:10.70.  Davis won out over American Fork 53 to 98 in team action.
  • Ben Saarel (Park City) continues his winning ways, taking the boys Varsity race with a time of 15:28.40.  Davis found itself a fight against Bonneville in team action as both teams scored 86 points but Davis' 6th man was 53rd to Bonneville's 78.  Both teams were impressive with respective 1-5 spreads of 36 and 39 seconds.  

 

Wasatch XC Invitational, UT

Highlights

  • American Fork finished 3rd-6th with it's top 4 to win the team title with 33 points over Herriman, 47 points.  Chuk  Mitchell (Herriman) won individually with a time of 16:13 over the 3 mile course.

Highlights

  • Taylor Werner, just a frosh, won the Varsity green 5k race with a blazing and impressive time of 16:59.30.  Sophomore Hannah Long (Eureka) was 2nd, also with a fast time of 17:07.  
  • Noah Kauppila (Marquette) won the boys Varsity green race with a time of 15:18.40.  

 

Mason Invitational, OH

Highlights

  • In the girls D1 race Carmel (IN) looked solid as they put 4 runners in the 2-5 positions and 5 in the top-8 to win overall with just 22 points.  Sydney Leiher (Beavercreek) won overall with a time of 19:02.01.  

 

Randolph Invitational, NJ

Coverage

Highlights

  • Bronxville (NY) sat out Mary Cain and Meredith Rizzo, but still were able to dominate the Varsity C race, winning with 19 points and 5 in the top-6 with the fastest team average of all varsity races with a 20:03.69 clocking.  Emelie Hoffer won individually to compete the B-ville sweep with a time of 19:15.23.  
  • Sarah Disanza (High Point) had the fastest time on the day out of the Varsity B race with a winning effor of 18:21.97.  

 

Mobile XC Challenge of Champions, AL

Highlights

  • Carmel Carlos (McGill-Toolen) rolled to a stellar victory with a winning time of 18:02.84, 1:18 up on 2nd place.  

 

Laguna Hills Invitational, CA

Highlights

  • In the boys D1 senior race Arcadia's Mitchell Pratt fought his way to the top time of the day in 15:09 with Juan Gonzalez (El Toro) finishing a close 2nd in 15:10.
  • In the boys D2 junior race Garrett Corcoran (Villa Park) had the 3rd fastest time of the day with a winning effort of 15:20.  
  • Jake Ogden (Dana Hills) won the D1 frosh race with a quick 15:58 as the fastest freshmen on the day.
  • Paige Tennison (Sultana) won the girls D2 senior race with the fastest time of the day, a quick 17:35 clocking.
  • In the girls D1 frosh race Amanda Gehrich (Tesoro) won with a time of 17:48, the second fastest on the day.
  •  Moriah Munyan (Sultana) won the girls D1 sophomore race with a nice time of 17:55.
  • Mira Costa girls had the fastest overall time of 1:34:01 while Canyon finished second with a cumulative time of 1:35:03.
  • In the boys action Arcadia ruled the day with a time of 1:19:28 while Vista Murietta finished 2nd with a time of 1:19:44.

 

St. Vrain XC Invitational, CO

Highlights

  • Elise Cranny (Niwot) ran away with the 4A-5A girls varsity race with a winning time of 18:17 on the 5000m course.  Monarch won the team title with 64 points.  
  • Paul Roberts (Lyons) won the 4A-5A boys varsity race with a time of 16:18.  Mountain Vista crushed Fairview in the team competition 47 to 80.

Highlights

  • Cedar Park dominated the boys varsity race with 33 points and a 40 second 1-5 spread.  Xavier Jimenez (Brazoswood) won the individual title with a time of 15:51.90 over the 5000m layout.
  • Kingwood girls were tops in the varsity race with 35 points scored and 5 in the top-12 overall.  Sandie Raines led the team with her individual win in 17:56.20, 32 seconds clear of the field.

 

Chickasaw Trails Invitational, AL

Highlights

  • In the girls 5A-6A race Jessica Molloy (Mountain Brook) won by over a minute with a quick effort of 18:03.73.  Mountain Brook dominated in the team race as well, winning with just 21 points scored.  
  • The success carried over to the boys as well with Payton Ballard taking the win in 16:07.49 as Mountain Brook won the team race 48 points.  

 

Lake Park Lancer Invitational, IL

Highlights

  • Kaylee Flanagan (Lake Park) won her home invite with a time of 16:27.70 over the 3 mile layout to win by 21 seconds.  Lake Park was also able to edge Glenbard West for the team win 61 to 69.  
  • Garrett Lee led Belvidere North to a solid win with his individual victory of 14:41.30.  Belvidere North snagged the top-3 but the 4 and 5 men struggled and a score of 61 points was registered to beat Deerfield, 74 points.  

 

Knights Crossing XC Invitational, VA

Coverage

Highlights

  • Quintin McKinnish (Morristown-West) won the boys varsity A race with a quick 15:45.51, gapping the field by 21 seconds.  Blacksburg dominated in the team competition, winning with 64 points.
  • In the girls varsity A race Carolyn Bethel (Hidden Valley) won with a time of 18:28.96.  Morristown-West girls dominated the team race with 39 points.  

 

SCTCCCA Coaches Classic, SC

Highlights

  • Andre Ivankovic (Daniel) won the International boys race with a quick 15:38 clocking.  
  • 8th grader Maryah Nasir (Pinewood Prep) rocked the Championship girls race with a winning time of 18:38.  

 

Northrop Bruin Invitational, IN

Highlights

  • Ashley Erba (Warsaw) flat out dominated the girls Varsity race, posting a winning time of 17:43.2 for the 5000m layout.  The time was 1:47 up on 2nd place!  Warsaw also won the team competition with just 34 points.  
  • Zach Panning (Concordia) won the boys Varsity race with a time of 15:50, 42 seconds up on 2nd place.  Concordia won the team crown on the boys side with 32 points.

 

Run-A-Ree, WA

Highlights

  • In the girls Varsity race Alexa Efraimson (Camas) looked good as she won by 42 seconds in 18:00.  
  • Mark Tedder (Battle Ground) won the boys race in 15:40, with a cushion of 31 seconds.

 

Cherry Creek Invitational, CO

Highlights

  • Colter continues to impress in early season action.  Jordyn Colter (Cherry Creek) rolled to the win in 17:31, almost 90 seconds up on 2nd place, on a slow course at 5200' elevation.  

 

Gerry Smith Invitational, MN

Coverage

Highlights

  • Clare Flanagan (Blake) won a heated 4k against Maria Hauger (Shakopee) and cracked 14 in the process, running a time of 13:55.  Hauger was 2nd in 14:13.  

 

Ben Davis Invitational, IN

Highlights

  • The Carmel boys looks solid with a team win, scoring just 18 points with 6 runners in the top-8 overall.  Corey Turner and Jaedon Wilson went 1-2 to lead the charge in 17:05 and 17:07, but apparently the course was about 50 seconds long, leading to the slow times.
  • In the girls race Malyka Abramson (Avon) won overall in 18:50 but West Lafayette stole the team show with the win, scoring 31 points.  

 

Tiger Grizz Invitational, ID

Highlights

  • Elijah Armstrong (Pocatello) won convincingly with a time of 16:12 for a 23 second victory over teammate Haydin Herndon in 16:35.

 

First to the Finish Invitational, IL

Highlights

  • In the 1A Varsity boys competition Grant Nykaza (Beecher) dominated, winning the 3 mile race in 14:41 for a 19 second gap.  Jake Brown (Mt. Zion) was 2nd in 15:00.  
  • In the 3A Varsity girls race New Trier was taken down again by a strong Naperville North squad 59 to 87.  Courtney Ackerman (New Trier) looked back on point however, winning the 3 mile race with a time of 16:45 with a gap of 30 seconds back to 2nd place.

 

Bobcat Invitational, IA

Highlights

  • Dowling Catholic boys rolled to a win with 32 points scored and a 15:59 team average achieved on a mere 32 second 1-5 spread.  Chandler Austin (Boone) won the individual title with a time of 15:26.  

 

Cedar Rapids Invitational, IA

Highlights

  • Josh Evans (Linn-Mar) won the boys Varsity with a time of 15:32.89, outpacing 2nd place by 26 seconds.  

 

25th Annual Muskrat Classic, MI

Highlights

  • In the girls D1 race Grosse Pointe South rolled to victory with 27 points with the Meier twins back in action.  Hannah Meier won the race in 18:33 while Hannah was 2nd in the same time.  Teammate Ersula Farrow rounded out the top-3 sweep with a time of 18:56.  

 

Northridge County Clash, IN

Highlights

  • In the girls Varsity race Anna Rohrer (Mishawaka) won individually with a swift time of 17:56.90.  Northridge girls won the team race with 53 points.  
  • Blake O'Dell (Northridge) won the boys Varsity race with a time of 16:06 to lead his team to the win with 43 points.
