Now that Momileplit has completed the virtual meet did they get it right or are there any teams that were affected by the championship factor that were in the wrong class? Calvary Lutheran finished 3rd at state and won district that is 3 points do they move up a class or not?

You only take the higher number for that year. It is not cumulative.

@zoughaibs There's no question that some of these will be wrong. We did this all manually, so there will be some mistakes. Also with some schools not competing, it could really throw a wrench into everything depending on how they decide to handle that.

@zoughaibs Very rough numbers: C5 down to 1000, C4 down to 500, C3 down to 250 and C2 down to 125.

@esnich In addition to what Hays said above, he had also mentioned in another thread that they were shooting for 72 teams in Class 4 & 5, 82 in 2 & 3, and Class 1 as a catch all. This year as opposed to previous years, MSHSAA said they wouldn't be doing classes with different numbers of schools per gender. They also said that schools could be on one class for one gender, and another class for another.
