Does anyone know if there is any intention on having open races at the District Meets? Will it be decided upon by host, MSHSAA, etc?

@cccoach1 If ever there was a year to have them with the Covid concerns and contact tracing this would be it. With 10 races at our site I dont' see it built into the info they sent us.

We asked MSHSAA...they said up to each host. I know at Washington we are still discussing it.

We've opted out for this at Sullivan.

At Washington we have 2 "alternate" races scheduled. It will be a few more days til times are released as we contact games committee to make sure they do not have any major problems with the schedule. As an alternate race each school will be allowed 4 boys and 4 girls, this will not be an "open" race.

Apparently, this is a company that is putting together a program for districts. You should have received an email. This is not mandatory, just a company trying to make a buck on advertising but putting together a program....
