Meet Information:

McCluer North has an all-weather track and jump runways. Athletes are only allowed to use or shorter spikes. Chalk & tennis balls (no tape) may be used as markers.

Throwing circles are concrete. Implements will be weighed & placed in a pool for use during the competition. Athletes may pick up implements at the end of the competition.

Scoring will be on the standard 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 system.

We will use a rolling schedule of events. All events will start at 10:00 am See the schedule of events below.

Schools will be required to supply one adult to help officiate relays field events, or time. A Games Committee of 5 coaches will be selected from the head coaches. Please email Tom Dowling at tdowling@fergflor.org with your 1st and 2nd choices for work assignments.

Athletes must come dressed to compete as there will be no locker rooms McCluer North High School assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen property.

Tents may be set up outside the competition venues on the south & west sides of the track. NO tents may be set up in the stands or in the infield area.

Buses should enter at the parking lot on the St. Catherine (south) side of the school. They will drop off in the lower lot and park in the upper lot.

The meet will consist of both varsity and junior varsity divisions. Each team is permitted 3 entries per individual event and 1 relay entry at the varsity level and each team will have 3 entries per individual events and 2 relay entries at the junior varsity level. Seniors may compete at the junior varsity if their performance warrants. Athletes are not permitted to crossover divisions.

We will run an open 1600m. This will be an unscored event without medals awarded.

There will be a Buffalo Relay for the throwers. Competitors must have thrown in the meet. It will be a combined varsity and junior varsity event. This is an exhibition event and will not be scored.

Sprint events will be power seeded and run against time. There will be no finals.

Horizontal jumps and the throws will be competed with 4 attempts (2 and 2 format) and no finals at the varsity level. The junior varsity level will have 3 throws or jumps (2 and 1 format) and no finals.
